The delicious gastronomy of Puerto Peñasco
The gastronomic variety Puerto Peñasco offers covers a wide range of options, the first on the list being excellent seafood. This includes “mariscada”, shellfish, “aguachiles”, cocktails, soups and “ceviches”, not to mention the diversity of dishes that can be made with fillets of different fish and seafood. Coming to Rocky Point, Mexico is no longer just about eating Mexican food.
In addition to this, it should be remembered that Puerto Peñasco is a Sonoran municipality, so the meat used has the excellent seal of guarantee of the state. The “Sonoran Beef” is known in most of Mexico. Here you can find cuts such as “arrachera”, fillet mignon, rib eye and other more conventional presentations such as the traditional grilled meat and other options that Rocky Point’s tacos count on (“birria”, marinated and “cabeza”).
In terms of national cuisine, several restaurants or food places are located in our port, offering typical Mexican dishes, as well as a variety of foreign food, for example, from the US, Asian food (more specifically Japanese and Chinese), Italian, Spanish, Argentine and German, in establishments from fast food to the finest restaurants. Our city is undoubtedly, in terms of gastronomy,
a heterogeneous cultural mix of great level.
