Rocky Point 911: Now there’s guaranteed security for tourists and residents

Now you can feel safe and protected in Rocky Point.  There’s guaranteed 911 emergency support available 24 hours per day.  And, that’s quite a relief to residents and welcome news for tourists.

The director of the Municipal Unit of Civil Protection and Fire, Francisco Javier Carrillo Ruiz, who’s working directly with the local relief coordinator of the Mexican Red Cross (Cruz Roja), Miguel Angel Ibarra Lomeli, has secured necessary safety and rescue equipment for emergency services.  Also, lifeguards are now in place to monitor and assist people swimming along Rocky Point’s beaches.

Bilingual public service

All public services will now be bilingual.  There will be at least one person in place to speak in English and Spanish during any emergency or rescue service taking place.  That’s good news for sure!

Knowing this, please don’t let it affect your judgement.  Most accidents are caused by imprudence, alcohol, and other substance abuse.  Safety starts with you, the tourist or resident.  So, please be careful in Rocky Point.

Locations

Service units will be deployed in various locations like Playa Hermosa, Playa del Carmen, Las Palomas, Coastal Blvd, Dunes, and Esmeralda.  Also, downtown Rocky Point (El Centro) is covered as well.

Staff

The highly-trained staff of medical technicians (paramedics) are constantly tested and certified by the local government.  The certifications strictly parallel those of the United States.  That way, you can be assured that rescuers know exactly how to help in an emergency.

Come visit soon!

So come visit Rocky Point and discover the closest beach town to Phoenix, Arizona, only about 60 miles south of the border.  And remember – after you visit, you’ll return frequently.  So, when that happens, remember Anchor Storage: the place to keep your things secure in Rocky Point.  It’s always easier to store your beach things, jet skis, and other large and small items than it is to haul them down time after time.
